Abstract: "This research project is being conducted to help determine the amount and type of reef fish being taken from Pohnpei's reef and lagoon. The purpose of the project is to learn how much fish people eat and catch in Pohnpei, in addition to thoughts and feelings about local participation in fish and resource management in the state. We are asking all households and municipalities in Pohnpei to participate. The research is a joint project between the University of Hawaii at Hilo, College of Micronesia and Conservation Society of Pohnpei"--P. 51.
